Performance 'bolt-on' camshaft for 1.9 & 2.0 8v TDI PD engines +15-25bhp


PD Injector cam modified to support higher RPMs
Works with stock valve and piston clearances (must be timed accurately to avoid problems)
15-25hp increase over stock camshaft (with software modifications)

The kit includes the following parts:

Custom PD Steel Camshaft (Unchilled Cast Iron) (Choose from Options):

1 - Fast Route - 9.64mm (+0.75mm) and 272 degree duration - Improved PD lobe

(Pistons may require valve pocket machining upon installation)

To complete a complete head build we also sell heavy duty springs to take advantage of the increased revs. The springs cannot be fitted without removing the cylinder head

Modified PD camshafts require changes in the map to ensure the car will start smoothly and quickly

Please note - The gains mentioned above are only valid if you have reached the limit of the stock camshaft (~250-260hp) and have a turbocharger capable of handling the extra power. We have tested the camshaft at lower power levels (~220hp) and have not noticed any measurable gains. However, if your camshaft is worn and needs replacing, changing this camshaft has no negative effect, in anticipation of future modifications.
