It's no secret that BMW N54 turbo engines suffer from oil control issues, causing oil to pass through and coat the intercooler and charge pipe, swell the intake valves and VANOS system, lower effective octane, and generally degrade engine performance. The higher your boost levels, the more apparent these issues become.

The solution to this problem has finally arrived. The N54 oil catch can. While there are other catch cans on the market, they all fall short in various areas. Some are mounted on the hot/turbo side of the engine, preventing vapor condensation. Others use hoses that are too small and too long to allow for proper PCV ventilation, leading to internal engine sealing issues. Some have inadequate or no internal baffle systems, while others have internal baffle systems that are too restrictive. Some even bypass the PCV system to vent crankcase gases and odors to the atmosphere. Most are simply remanufactured oil catch cans from smaller/less powerful engines, placed in the BMW turbo engine bay.

To solve these problems, A to Z oil catch can specifically for BMW turbo application. It features 100% CNC machining without welding for precise fit and long life. The can itself is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. The hoses exceed the diameter of the OEM PCV piping and this flow rate is maintained throughout the entire oil catch can ensure no excessive pressure buildup in the crankcase. The OCC maintains the factory fully closed loop PCV operation, preventing any PCV vapor from escaping to atmosphere. Mounting locations are selected to minimize line length, allow for more efficient operation, and maintain a stealthy appearance. Installation takes approximately 20 minutes, includes all required hardware, and is 100% reversible.

Empty side

The N54 OCC vacuum side works in conjunction with our world famous N54 boost side oil reservoir to prevent engine oil and PCV gunk from coating your intake valves and hurting engine efficiency under engine vacuum. Our boost side OCC separates the oil traveling through the PCV while the engine is operating under boost pressure (e.g. heavy throttle) and our OCC vacuum side separates the oil traveling through the PCV while the engine is operating under vacuum (idle and low RPM). When used together, they provide the ultimate protection preventing oil from coating your intake ports and valves during all phases of engine operation!

Our unique PCV adapter design does not require you to permanently plug/clog your PCV holes! Includes a high performance check valve that attaches directly to the vacuum source eliminating boost leaks in the system and also includes quick connect fittings and 3/8" hose for a quick, easy and clean installation.
