The pistons for Audi / VW 2.0L TFSI engines have been developed for moderate to intensive tuning, mainly intended for road cars or club racing vehicles. Designed to meet the requirements of a high-mileage engine and/or road use, they are the result of the expertise of ZRP engineers and are manufactured in Germany from the high-silicon, low-expansion 4032 (T6) alloy.
This alloy allows the engine tuner to adopt a tighter piston/cylinder clearance, ensuring a better seal. This reduces the cold-start knocking noise often present on engines equipped with forged pistons, thus providing quiet operation and low oil consumption.
We opted for a design with a full round skirt reinforced by a lower band, as well as oversized and deeper valve pockets, allowing the use of high-lift camshafts. Offset piston pins ensure quiet operation, while the piston pins are made from 9310 alloy for optimum durability.

These pistons are compatible with all engine configurations using 21.00 mm pins.
